Getting started
Is QR-TH really free?
Yes. Static QR codes are free forever, have no scan limits and work without an account. A free account adds dynamic codes, scan statistics and hosted pages within the Free plan limits.
Do I need an account?
Not for static codes: choose a type, fill it in and download. You need an account to save codes, edit links later, see statistics or publish menus and other hosted pages.
Which file format should I download?
Use PNG for screens and everyday printing, JPG when a white background is required, and SVG for professional printing at any size, because it stays sharp however large you make it.
How do PromptPay QR codes work?
Enter a mobile number, 13-digit national ID or e-wallet ID. Add an amount to fix the price, or leave it blank so the payer types it in. Every Thai banking app can read the code, and the money goes straight to your account.
Dynamic codes and statistics
What is a dynamic QR code?
It contains a short qr-th.com link instead of your final address. You can change where it points at any time without reprinting, and every scan is counted.
Do QR codes expire?
Static codes never expire. Dynamic codes keep working while your account is active, unless you set an expiry date or a scan limit yourself.
What can I see in the statistics?
Scans per day and per hour, device types (iOS, Android or other) and countries. You can filter by code and export everything as CSV.
Do you track the people who scan my codes?
No. We count scans anonymously and do not store scanners’ IP addresses or use tracking cookies. See our Privacy Policy for details.
Design, pages and printing
Will a logo stop my code from scanning?
Not when you keep it small. QR-TH switches on high error correction automatically when you add a logo. Keep the logo under 40% of the width and test the code before printing.
Can I make a menu or link-in-bio page without a website?
Yes. Choose Menu, Link in bio, PDF, Photos or Video, fill in the page and publish it. We host the page and give you a QR code that opens it.
How big should I print my QR code?
At least 2 × 2 cm for business cards and about 4 × 4 cm for tables and counters. For posters, make the code at least one tenth of the distance people scan from. Use dark dots on a light background.
Plans and payments
How can I pay?
Depending on what is enabled, you can pay by PromptPay transfer with a payment slip, by instant PromptPay, or by credit or debit card. Plans are paid monthly or yearly in advance and do not renew automatically.
What happens when my plan ends?
Your account goes back to the Free plan. Existing codes keep their data, but you cannot create more than the Free plan allows until you renew.
Can I get a refund?
Plans start immediately, so payments are generally not refundable. If you were charged by mistake, contact us within 7 days. Details are in our Terms of Service.
Teams and business
Can my team work together?
Yes. On Pro and Business you can invite teammates as editors, who can create and change codes, or viewers, who can only see codes and statistics.
Do you have an API?
Yes. On the Business plan you can create API keys and use our REST API to create, update and read QR codes and their statistics from your own systems.
Can I use my own domain for short links?
Yes, on the Business plan. Add a domain such as go.yourbrand.com in your dashboard, create a CNAME record that points to qr-th.com, and verify it.
